Wow. 170 dollars for 1000 watts. I got it and it shakes my hole house, it’s great for music and gaming. The subwoofer is high quality and you can hear and feel it. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a sound system.

I love the sound but I have to turn surround off and on and change eq back and forth every time I turn it on to make it louder. I wish I didn’t have to do that. The speakers are not that good. I blew the sub.You need to change the speakers to bigger ones and put a powered sub. I put a set of Bose 301s and a 500 watt rms sub on it and it louder than the more experience one I replaced it with.

The first one I bought model RT2781HB was a beast. It sounded clear, bright and awesome bass. Way ooutperformed a Samsung of the same 1000 watts. I have actually played it till the front 2 channels burned out and I blew speakers. 5Years old or older. I am planning on buying a new one. I bought a Samsung and it seemed to have a limit switch on the Sub. NO comparison at all to the Bass sounf of the RCA. The police usually come a couple times a month to tell me to turn it down even with the 2 front channels burnt out.

  7. Patrick Knepp

It is nice and gets loud but i was hoping for a 12 inch subwoofer. The size was not in any specs that i have looked up, now i am looking for a 12 inch subwoofer for it but cant even find the wattage of the subwoofer that came with the system, can anyone tell me where i could find the specs or a bigger subwoofer for this system? I prefer good low bass and this subwoofer doesnt provide good low bass.

    • RCA

Hey Patrick Knepp, The wattage of the sub woofer is about 50 watts!

  8. Lucas Vladimir Linares

Greetings the product is good, I like it, but in none of the manuals that the equipment brings or on the internet I can find the specifications of how many watts each output supplies. I already read that the bass is 50w, but what about the others if I want to replace any of the speakers?

have the older model system(RT2770)works good, been looking at the newer model, hoping it has higher watt speakers say 10 watt all around, and bring back Dolby DTS that was on a older system (300 watt).

  11. Josh S.

I bought one a couple years ago. Never had problems with it. It all about how you set it up. How you connect everything. I love the fact it has 2 ohm outputs for the sub woofer. I don’t use the RCA sub I have a much higher quality ones hooked up to it. Sounds amazing. Only wish it had 2 sub woofer outputs.
